Last week on September 11th, the Minnesota-based Bushel Boy Farms broke ground on its new 50-acre (20-hectare) facility in Mason City, Iowa. The new facility is estimated to increase production by 50%, and bring 50 full-time jobs to the area. The project’s building contract has been given to VB Greenhouse Projects from the Netherlands to create a modern greenhouse complex for the new facility.

The beer, a red brut IPA called “2019 Craft Brewers Conference Symposium Ale,” was brewed at Sleeping Giant Brewing Company in Denver as a collaboration between members of the Colorado Brewers Guild. Weighing in at 7.0% abv and 42 IBUs, the 2019 CBC Symposium Ale will be available to attendees of the Craft Brewers Conference (also look for it at the BSG beer station at booth #15065).
